Welcome to my webzone. It's perpetually under construction, like most of my projects. I like to make things and have a penchant for biting off more than I can chew.

I believe strongly in the importance of self-hosted software and digital sovereignty. In fact, I stumbled into the skillset for my current role in cloud infrastructure management, deployment, and containerized application development by setting up my own servers and services at home. I'm still slowly expanding my homelab, and love finding a new image to deploy or platform to test out.

Outside of technology I enjoy anything that lets me work with my hands or create a tactile product. I enjoy analog photography, expanding my workshop and garden environment at home, picking up new skills at the local makerspace (and helping bodge solutions for problems there), making fermented food from scratch, and playing old-time banjo and occasionally fiddle.
